BIBLE READING:  Proverbs 3:1-12

How many times did our parents tell us to clean our rooms when we were growing up? Why did we always feel like taking the easy way out? We threw our clothes on the floor and we did not pick up our toys. We did not want to sweep or vacuum the floor. It was easier to do very little, but we all knew what came next; hours of cleaning up our mess.

Our lives as an adult are similar. If we make good decisions, we have less to clean up. If we make bad decisions, we have much to clean up.

Application: Discuss ways you could have made better decisions.
