Woodlawn Family Bible Study
FRIDAY

BIBLE READING:  Ephesians 6:10-20

When you were a kid what did you want to grow up to be? I wanted to be a professional baseball player. Many young boys want to be policemen or firefighter. Some want to be football or basketball players. What do they all have in common? They all wear a uniform. A uniform tells us what team we are on. A uniform is a form of protection. A uniform gives us confidence. We have a Christian uniform. We are told to put on the whole armor of God. Ephesians 6:11-17 tells us of “The belt of truth,” “The breastplate of righteousness,” “The helmet of salvation,” “The sword of the spirit,” and “The shield of faith.”

Application: Put on your armor, your uniform, and with confidence fight for the souls the devil desires.
