Woodlawn Family Bible Study
TUESDAY
BIBLE READING: Ephesians 4.29-32
MAIN IDEA:
“Making
Home a Place of Encouragement?”
DISCUSSION:
Too often our homes have become a place where
we complain, criticize and nitpick each other’s faults and short comings.
When that happens we are more likely to have short tempers, resulting in us saying things we will later regret. Whoever said “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”, was wrong. The words we say to one another do hurt, but they can also uplift and encourage. Discuss what might happen to our families if we did just the opposite and be quick to compliment and encourage one another.
