BIBLE READING:  2 Peter 3:1-13

In our communities, when something goes wrong we want justice. We want everything to be fair, and if we mess up we should pay the price. We have court systems to make sure we can get as close to that as possible. In our Christian lives, justice is the last thing we want. None of us deserve the Kingdom of Heaven.  Second Peter 3:9 reads, “The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because He does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”

Application: We need to look at how generous God is with us and how patient.
